Sweet Caitlin (Kathleen) is a truly beautiful rose. Caitlin (or Kathleen) was a name adopted by Irish writers as a pseudonym for Ireland following the enactment of repressive laws. With charming full cupped blooms, a strong and sweet citrus perfume, a lovely golden yellow colouring to the flowers and dark green foliage, this rose is sure to be a favourite.

Caitlin (Kathleen) was adopted by Irish writers as a pseudonym for Ireland. Following the enactment of repressive laws towards the close of the 17th century poets and writers were unable to refer to Ireland by name, so they introduced other names including that of Caitlin (Kathleen).
