Elderberry Sambucus nigra 'Black lace'
An exciting form of Sambucus nigra with richly coloured foliage that is deeply cut giving a delicate lacy appearance. This versatile, robust shrub is suitable for a wide range of situations, positions and soil types.
Pink flowers from late spring have a slight lemony fragrance. Flowers are followed by dark ruby-purple rounded berries with a light green flesh, ripening in autumn.
Elderberry grows in full sun to shade to 3m tall by 3m wide.
