Crab apple - Malus trilobata
This crab apple is more weidely known for its erect growth habit, making it very suitable for confined areas. The maple-like leaves, which have 3 serrated deep lobes, are glossy green turning to yellow, orange and red tones in autumn. Flowers are white and only a few yellow fruit are produced.
Can grow to 10 m tall by 4 m wide in full sun. This crab apple prefers well drained soil.
